Hunger on Our Doorstep

is a resource for local congregations in communities of all sizes. 2-hour training workshops with facilitator: August 28 in Milwaukee and Madison, August 30-Appleton, and August 31-Tomah. This resource was funded in part by an American Baptist Domestic Development Grant and a grant from Housing Ministries of American Baptists of Wisconsin and produced by the Wisconsin Council of Churches. Hunger is an issue in all communities. Congregations can study the needs in their community and then work together to respond to those needs. For more detailed information about the facilitator training for your congregation or community leaders e-mail wcoc@wichurches.org. The Wisconsin Council of Churches will come to your community if five or more congregations wish to be trained.
