Mission Trip to India-August 2008

Federated Church of Green Lake is planning a trip to Kodaikanal School in India in August 2008. The school is staffed by missionaries from many protestant denominations and serves children from all over the world. The purpose of the trip will be to learn about the work of the school and to participate in work projects as available. David and Betsy Perkins, ABC missionaries who are members of Federated-Green Lake, serve at this school. For more information call 920-294-3440 or email office@greenlakefederated.org.

"Perkie" Kloida First to Complete Certified Lay Ministry Program

"Perkie", Oconomowoc-First Baptist, entered the CLMP in early 2005 and has made steady progress through the eight required and four elective courses to become the first person to complete this program sponsored by the region. Her pastor, Paul Prowitz, served as her tutor. The program is self-guided and progress is made at the pace the student is willing and able to pursue. She will receive a certificate from the region signaling her accomplishment.

Our Sympathy
