2017 has been and continues to be such an exhilarating and encouraging time of ministry and mission as American Baptist Churches (ABC) of Wisconsin unfolds a new vision for the region. Our new vision statement is: “Together Living Faithfully through Christ Today” (Ephesians 3:18-19). There are four imperatives undergirding the vision: Rootedness, Collaboration, Growth and Transformation.

The 173rd Annual Gathering focuses on the first imperative, Rootedness, with the theme, “Rooted In and Living Through Christ with scripture “So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.” Col 2:6-7 (NRSV)

We will gather from all over the state to move forward in this mission and ministry. Please join us as we explore the roots of our witness as American Baptists and determine our movement forward. I invite, no strongly encourage, your participation as local church communities and individually as involved American Baptists to join us at Green Lake. We need you!! YOU are the hands and feet of transformative ministry.
