Pastor Walter Lanier of Progressive Baptist Church, an alumnus of CENTRAL Wisconsin, will be the host for this final Teaching Pastors Forum of 2019. Site Coordinator and Associate Minister-Education for ABC/WI, John A. Jones IV will be facilitating a conversation about the various understandings of “church” that are operative and helpful in the ongoing work of being church.

Some questions to be considered:

  • Is “Church” primarily local? Universal? Both?
  • How do Baptists benefit from Associational relationships?
  • How do Baptists benefit from Ecumenical relationships?
  • How do Ecumenical efforts benefit from Baptist participation?
  • How do Christians need each other, even when we sometimes don’t like each other?

A simple lunch will be provided.  Please RSVP to the ABC/WI Office Administrator, Sean Cornell (sean.cornell@abcofwi.org or 262-782-3140) no later than Monday, Sept. 16 at NOON.
