WORKSHOP: Church & Tech

                        Saturday, April 20

QUESTION: What are some easy and cost-effective ways for churches to employ technology in their ministry?

Come to this 2 hour workshop on Church & Tech hosted by ABC of Wisconsin on April 20. You can come in person to the Region office or you can join on Zoom. [Our facilitator will be on Zoom.]

Goals for this WORKSHOP:

  1. Identifying quick wins churches can make in the short term on websites/social media/live streams
  2. Articulating and/or thinking through the big picture WHY of church technology
  3. Identifying WHO the church is trying to interact with online

Our facilitator for this WORKSHOP will be Rev. Dallas Flippin, pastor of First Baptist Church of Jackson, Michigan. Before being called to First Baptist in 2018, Dallas was a pastor of Ministry Development at Immanuel Church in Brookfield, WI where he was ordained. He is a Tech Consultant for the American Baptist Churches of Michigan, where he consults with churches about livestreaming, websites, and more. Dallas has taught courses in theology and ministry at Marquette University and Central Baptist Theological Seminary.
