Daily, weekly, and monthly rhythms—combined with the layers of who you are and who you were created to be—create ripples in the world around you. That’s our theme for camp this year:
Ripples.
There is so much meaning in a ripple. In water, sand, or even rock, ripples show movement, impact, and change. Our image for this year features a person paddling a canoe, creating ripples as they move forward. Think about those ripples: how one interacts with another on the water, how they touch the shoreline, how they affect the fish, turtles, and vegetation below the surface. These are ripples you can see almost immediately—small movements that shift the environment around them.
Other ripples take more time. The patterns that form in sand or rock require persistence and pressure. And then there are geological mantle ripples—slow-motion movements deep within the Earth that eventually reshape the landscape. Rhythms and layers affecting our world, seen and unseen.
Jesus tells us to love one another. For some, that instruction feels simple. For others, it comes with layers—personal history, biases, fears, and obstacles. How do we, as complex human beings, love one another while navigating our own inner terrain? What does it look like to create an intentional rhythm of love when daily life gets in the way? Those obstacles—judgment, fear, anger, time, self-worth—are real, and they will be part of our conversations this summer.
I won’t give too much away, because you’re all invited to come experience it for yourselves! We have a wide variety of programs and retreats this year: our classic grade-based youth camps, Hammock Camp, Empowerment Camp, Inclusive Camp, Redux Camp, Gaming Camp, Stargazing Camp, and more.

We know that camp creates both immediate and long-term ripples in the world, and we’re grateful to offer another year of being in God’s creation, building community, and sending more ripples of love outward.
